Personal Training

A trainer will initially ask you what your goals and ambitions are. They will assess your lifestyle including your working routines. Any past injuries, illnesses, sports and exercise will be taken into account.

When all this has been analysed the trainer will assess your present limits by measuring, weighing and testing. They will screen you for basic health and safety to exercise. They may ask you to visit your GP and obtain a letter that recommends exercise. The trainer will then formulate a programme of achievable targets, which should direct you towards your personal goals. A trainer will re-assess you at regular intervals to measure the gains and improvements.

Where will I have to workout?

Our personal trainers are extremely adept at being able to mould programs around your lifestyle. Workouts can therefore take place in the park, your office, your gym, or even in the comfort of your own home. Therefore, any time spent travelling, waiting for sweaty machines can be avoided. Travel costs for personal trainers will be added if travelling out the 20-mile radius of Welwyn Garden City.

How many sessions will I need?

Some clients only require an initial programme with occasional re-assessments and are therefore able to achieve their targets without constant attention by their personal trainer. However, many people new to exercise prefer the comfort of having the trainer with them for some time.

Considerations!

Time!
To exercise you have to commit time. Trainers are generally good at finding you time in your daily routine.
Money!
Trainers have to charge for their time, so the more you can do yourself the less expensive it is to achieve your goals.
Equipment!
It is very important to have the correct shoes and clothes for work-outs in order to prevent injuries.
