Terry has always had a massive interest in sports injuries and has obtained diplomas in soft tissue release, deep tissue massage and sports massage. He treats many athletes from a wide range of sporting activities, similarly he has many clients who do not participate in any sport but are suffering from general stiffness and pain caused by their general lifestyle.
Terry took up running in the early 80's in a bid to lose weight, reduce stress and to improve his general fitness. He quickly became addicted to the sport and started to race competitively under the guidance of legendary athletic coach Harry Wilson. He is able to boast impressive personal bests of 2hr 28mins for the Marathon, 69 minutes for the half and 52 minutes for 10 miles. He still races competitively and regularly wins County medals in his age group for various distances.
Treatment sessions with Terry last 1 hour (£30.00) or 30 minutes (£20.00) and during the first consultation you will be asked questions about your current life style, any sporting activity you are involved in, training programs and previous injuries that you have suffered along with several more that help to provide the best possible service to you. You will then be asked to dress down in order for treatment to be given. It would be most beneficial to bring a pair of shorts or a top that can be rolled up however towels will be used to cover parts of the body not being treated.
Sports massages are by appointment only. Please call 07967 553618 for more details or to book an appointment. Evening and weekend appointments are sometimes possible.
